cette interface audio est connue en France sous l'appellation "  Numark StereoPort " mais sa veritable appellation est " Numark Stereo|io " pour dire que c'est stéréo!!! mais surtout: io pour in et out. Ne pas confondre avec le Numark  DJ|io  qui est un autre modèle.
Pour la trouver sur le site Numark, il est bon de savoir écrire Stereo|io :
Le caractère "|" (barre verticale) s'obtient en combinant : AltGR + 6
la touche AltGr (à droite de la barre d'espace)
et la touche 6,qui fait aussi le tiret- au dessus du T et du Y.
si clavier belge, faire AltGr + 1  (toujours pas celui du clavier numérique)

Connectique :

- une entrée Phono stéréo (2 cinch/RCA)
- une entrée Ligne stereo (2 cinch/RCA)
le choix Phono ou Ligne est à choisir  par un interrupteur manuel situé sur l'appareil.
En effet le Numark Stereo|io possède une seule ligne d'entrée stéréo, une seule voie.

- une sortie Ligne stéréo ( (2 cinch/RCA)
Un potentiomètre est destiné à régler le niveau de la sortie Line Stéréo.

l'appellation Stereo|io prend ici tout son sens : 1 entrée stéréo et 1 sortie stéréo.
Une fois installé, il est présent dans le système en tant que :
"USB Audio Codec" , 1 pour l'enregistrement et 1 pour la lecture.
